VALUES Leadership

What makes VALUES Leadership© different is that the program not only has a strategical component but a tactical and practical process for building leadership skills. Great leaders:

This participative training program explores each of these aspects of leadership and  builds skills in each of these areas. In addition, participants are taught the VALUES Communication© process. This process, as described in James Young’s book Communicating With VALUES, provides  leaders a practical process for more effectively communicating and coaching-leading others to meet their potential.

Serve-Servant leadership

This course is designed for people moving into new leadership positions, as well as experienced and successful leaders. It develops skills essential to promoting a productive work environment.  The course also includes an assessment, Ethical Awareness Inventory, which helps individuals discover their ethical perspective and how to make good ethical decisions.  

After completing this course, the participants will be able to:

  • Identify and articulate their leadership philosophy and why it will make them successful leaders
  • Understand how to motivate others
  • Discover generational differences and how those differences effect productivity
  • Communicate more effectively
  • Teach others to set goals and hold them accountable to those goals
  • Understand their ethical perspective and that of others. Learn an ethical decision making process
  • Identify their behavior style and that of others
  • Understand how to better deal with adversity
  • Create a vision statement and develop a plan to implement it
  • Define and emulate best practices in their organization

This program has an initial one day seminar and five one-hour weekly follow-up sessions that are customized to meet the organizations needs.
