Community Partnership Development

Somewhat unique in its social entrepreneurial approach to fulfilling its nonprofit mission, revenue generated from TWI’s resources, training and management services provide the opportunity to support leadership development activities in the community. A partial list of recent TWI involvement includes:

  • Partnership development between businesses, educational institutions, government agencies and community-based organizations
  • Joint sponsorship with the Foothills Academy to provide a Summer Institute for Teachers to integrate ethics into their curricula
  • Collaboration with the Arizona Humanities Council (AHC) in promoting dialogue on the issues surrounding immigration by contributing 75 books on the topic to the AHC library for use in community book discussions
  • Facilitation of a one-day seminar on Generations at Work co-sponsored by the Rotary Vocational Fund of Arizona, exploring how to maximize the potential and minimize the conflict represented by four generations in the workplace
  • Collaboration on grant funding opportunities to accomplish community projects that include and ethics component
  • Participation in projects and partnerships through the local  Chamber of Commerce
  • Support for other organizations and individuals working to promote ethics in community
