Giving Back to the Community
In order to "promote ethics in community," one must actually live in community, believe in the benefits and commitment associated with community and accept some responsibility for supporting community. TWI has borrowed from the historical concept of tithing — giving back a tenth in support of our core values.
We are committed to offering our staff the opportunity to give back to the community. In exchange for volunteering a tenth of their work week to a favorite charity or community-based organization, staff members are paid for their full work week while contributing time to the community of their choice, e.g, staff members who are paid for 40 hours will work 36 hours and volunteer in the community for 4 hours.
We honor and value community, and we feel a responsibility toward sustaining our community.
